Investiture Ceremony Held at Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir
Udaipur: An impressive Investiture Ceremony was organized at Maharana Mewar Vidya Mandir, Ambamata, with the objective of promoting student leadership, discipline, and a sense of responsibility among young learners.
During the ceremony, 90 students were appointed to various leadership positions and took their oaths with great enthusiasm. Chief Guest Colonel Naresh Bagasara and Principal Mrs. Pratima Sharma honoured the students by presenting them with sashes and badges while explaining the objectives and responsibilities of each house.
The captains and vice-captains of Agni House, Jal House, Aakash House, Prithvi House, and Vayu House were awarded their sashes and administered the oath of office. Newly elected student leaders were also guided about their duties and responsibilities.
Vice Principal Gajendra Sharma presented sashes to primary section students appointed as Head Boy, Head Girl, Cultural Secretary, Discipline Minister, and Marshals. A collective oath was administered by teacher Abhilasha Verma.
The ceremony began with a grand welcome by the school band, which performed melodies including “Padharo Mhare Desh” and “Sare Jahan Se Achha Hindustan Hamara.” This was followed by a Saraswati Vandana performance and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Principal Mrs. Pratima Sharma welcomed and felicitated the chief guest.
Students presented a dance drama on the song “Bachpan Ko Muskurane Do,” which was appreciated by the guests and students.
Addressing the gathering, Colonel Naresh Bagasara congratulated the newly appointed leaders and said that a position is not only a symbol of honour but also an opportunity to demonstrate responsibility and leadership. He encouraged students to perform their duties with discipline, sensitivity, and dedication.
