Hotel Association Udaipur Executive Sworn In, Pledges to Strengthen Tourism

Udaipur: The newly elected executive committee of the Hotel Association, Udaipur took the oath of office with a commitment to promoting tourism, ensuring the safety of visitors, and protecting the interests of the hospitality industry. The oath was administered by Dr. Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar at a ceremony held in Balicha.

Association President Rajesh Agrawal said the organization would work to strengthen the hotel industry through better coordination with the government and administration while preserving Udaipur's rich cultural heritage. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Mewar credited the late Arvind Singh Mewar for transforming Udaipur into a globally renowned tourism destination and urged the hospitality sector to support the preservation of the city's unique Jal Sanjhi art.

Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena assured hotel owners of the government's support and said efforts would be made to ensure tourists do not face inconvenience. Paras Singhvi, President of the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce, stressed the need for tourist-friendly policing and called for an end to unnecessary harassment of visitors. He also urged hotel operators to provide memorable experiences that encourage tourists to extend their stay.

The ceremony concluded with the swearing-in of the new office bearers and executive members, along with the presentation of membership certificates to 22 new hotel owners.
