iStart Startup Ecosystem Interaction Programme at SPSU
Udaipur: The iStart Startup Ecosystem Interaction Programme was successfully conducted at Sir Padampat Singhania University under the Government of Rajasthan iStart initiative. The programme aimed to familiarize students with the start-up ecosystem, innovation, entrepreneurship, and government start-up schemes, while also motivating them towards innovation and self-employment. The Hon’ble President, Dr. Sanjay Sinha, FRSA, Pro-President, Prof. (Dr.) Prasun Chakraborty, Dean, Dr. Amit Goyal and Head of Department, Dr. Anand Bhaskar welcomed and felicitated the esteemed guests Mr. Jeevan Ram Meena (iStart OIC, Udaipur Division), Mr. Saurabh Vaishnav (iStart Mentor), and Mr. Yogesh Kumar Sharma (R-CAT Consultant). Dr. Sinha in his welcome address urged the students to make the most of the iStart Ecosystem and leverage the platform for
entrepreneurship, mentorship and innovation opportunities. The students were briefed about start-up registration, innovation, government start- up grants, pitching to investors, business development, and opportunities to engage with Rajasthan start-up ecosystem. The event also featured two specialized iStart Startup Innovation Workshops by Mr. Abhay Veer, Founder & Director of INDevotion Edutainment Pvt. Ltd and Mr. Jagdish Sahu, Founder of The Mistry . The sessions focussed on the practical aspects of brand building, creative thinking, artificial intelligence, start-up innovation, and entrepreneurship. The event was coordinated by Dr. Manish Tiwari, Dr. Arun Vaishnav, and Dr. Priyanka Sisodia. The programme was highly informative and inspiring, encouraging students to transform innovative ideas into successful entrepreneurial ventures.
