Renowned Social Worker Dr. Kalpana Goyal Honoured with 'Mewar Nari Gaurav Samman'
Udaipur: Renowned social worker Dr. Kalpana Goyal, Founder and President of Tara Sansthan, was honoured with the prestigious "Mewar Nari Gaurav Samman" in recognition of her outstanding contribution to social welfare and her dedicated service to humanity.
The award was presented by Dr. Rajshree Gandhi, senior social activist, National President of the Consumer Protection Organization, and President of the Mewar Vikas Manch.
Congratulating Dr. Goyal, Dr. Rajshree Gandhi said that since establishing Tara Sansthan in 2009, Dr. Goyal has devoted herself to the selfless service of underprivileged, destitute, and abandoned senior citizens. She noted that the organisation's free Anand Old Age Homes provide elderly residents with dignified shelter, nutritious meals, medical care, and a compassionate family-like environment.
Beyond elderly care, Tara Sansthan has been actively engaged in several public welfare initiatives, including education, women's empowerment, senior citizen welfare, and free eye care services, making a meaningful impact on society.
