###Pacific Institute of Hotel Management Organizes Orientation Program for Freshers
Udaipur: The Pacific Institute of Hotel Management, a constituent of Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research University (PAHER University), organized a one-day orientation program for newly admitted students.
The chief guest of the event was Mr. Yash Raj, HR Executive, Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur. Coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, the program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before Goddess Saraswati.
Welcoming the new students, Mr. Vinod Kumar Singh Bhadauria, Director of the Institute, congratulated them on becoming a part of the college after completing their school education. Extending his Guru Purnima greetings, he emphasized the importance of punctuality, discipline, patience, and a willingness to learn as the key attributes for achieving success. He encouraged students to view failures as stepping stones to success, stating that every setback provides an opportunity to grow and excel.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Yash Raj conveyed his best wishes to the students for a bright future. Through an interactive session, he shared valuable insights into the hospitality industry and highlighted the significance of qualities such as effective communication, humility, empathy, and the ability to apologize sincerely in delivering exceptional guest service.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. Jacob John, Vice Principal, who reminded students that their parents are their first teachers, whose guidance and values have laid the foundation for their achievements. He encouraged students to continue respecting and learning from both their parents and teachers throughout their academic and professional journeys.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Mehdi Sharma. Faculty members and newly admitted students participated enthusiastically, making the orientation a meaningful beginning to their academic journey at the institute.
