Thousands Gather at Balliya Jagruk Dhuni to Celebrate Guru Purnima
Spiritual discourse by Kamlesh Ji Shastri inspires devotion, unity, and Sanatan values; Social influencer Roshni Barot attends the celebrations
Bankoda: A grand religious and spiritual celebration was held at Balliya Jagruk Dhuni in the Vagad region on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, drawing thousands of devotees from nearby villages and distant places. The sacred premises resonated with devotional songs, bhajans, kirtans, spiritual discourses, and prayers, creating an atmosphere of faith and divine energy throughout the day.
The highlight of the event was the spiritual discourse delivered by renowned storyteller Kamlesh Ji Shastri, who emphasized the importance of Sanatan Dharma, Indian culture, Hindu values, social harmony, brotherhood, and unity. He urged people to rise above differences and work together for the preservation of Sanatan traditions and the welfare of society.
Social media influencer, model, and social activist Roshni Barot, popularly known as the daughter of Vagad, was the special guest at the event. Addressing the gathering, she said, "Visit Somnath, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—but before that, you must visit Balliya Jagruk Dhuni, the sacred land of our Vagad." Her heartfelt message received an enthusiastic response from devotees.
Speaking about her roots, Roshni Barot said, "My birthplace and my motherland define my identity. The soil of Vagad is like a mother to me, and I feel proud to remain connected with its rich spiritual and cultural heritage."
Roshni Barot is the founder of the NIM Foundation and is actively involved in social welfare, women's empowerment, and supporting underprivileged communities. She was also honored as the First Runner-up and awarded the title of Supermodel at the Miss & Mrs India International 2019 pageant.
The event was also attended by social media creators and influencers, including Kamlesh Ji Bawaliya, KD, Lokesh, and Vinay, who participated in the spiritual gathering and expressed their commitment to promoting the values of Sanatan Dharma through their digital platforms.
