Drug De-addiction Awareness Program Held at Senior Secondary School, Hakamabad
Sri Ganganagar: Under the ongoing Drug-Free Sri Ganganagar Campaign, led by District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav and Superintendent of Police Mr. Harishankar, a drug de-addiction awareness program was organized at Senior Secondary School, Hakamabad. The initiative aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourage them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Vikram Jyani from the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment said that drug addiction not only harms individuals but also devastates families, weakens society, and hinders national progress. He urged students to face life's challenges with courage and determination, emphasizing that drugs are never a solution.
The students pledged to remain drug-free, motivate their friends and families to avoid substance abuse, and actively support efforts to make their village drug-free. They also stressed the importance of supporting and guiding people struggling with addiction, helping them recover and return to a dignified and productive life.
