Dr. Rajshree Upadhyay Assigned Additional Charge of HRD and Planning & Monitoring at MPUAT
UDAIPUR : Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, has assigned Dr. Rajshree Upadhyay, professor and head of the Department of Extension Education and Communication Management at the College of Community and Applied Sciences, the additional responsibilities of Director, Human Resource Development (HRD) and Director, Planning and Monitoring (DPM), according to an official university order.
As Director of Human Resource Development, Dr. Upadhyay will be responsible for formulating and implementing the university's human resource development policies and annual action plans. Her responsibilities include assessing the training needs of teaching and non-teaching staff and organizing induction, orientation, refresher and capacity-building programs.
She will also oversee faculty development, leadership training, professional competency enhancement, career advancement, skill development and institutional capacity-building initiatives across the university.
In addition, Dr. Upadhyay will recommend measures to improve employee performance and strengthen organizational effectiveness. Her portfolio includes promoting academic and training collaborations with national and international institutions, maintaining records and databases related to training, development and human resource planning, and carrying out additional responsibilities assigned by the Vice-Chancellor from time to time.
As Director of Planning and Monitoring, Dr. Upadhyay will supervise the planning, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the university's development projects and institutional activities to ensure the effective execution of academic and administrative programs.
University officials expressed confidence that Dr. Upadhyay's extensive academic and administrative experience will strengthen human resource development, institutional planning, monitoring systems and overall administrative efficiency at MPUAT.
