Service Should Flow Uninterrupted Like the Ganga; This Is the True Purpose of Human Life: Prashant Agarwal

Udaipur: On the auspicious occasion of the holy month of Shravan (Sawan), Narayan Seva Sansthan organized its 'Apnon Se Apni Baat' interaction programme at the institution's Seva Mahatirth. Addressing the gathering, the President of Narayan Seva Sansthan, Prashant Agarwal, called upon society to uphold the spirit of selfless service and compassion.

He said that just as the sacred River Ganga flows continuously, quenching thirst and sustaining life, the stream of service should also remain constant in society. God has bestowed human life not merely for personal fulfillment but to serve humanity and work for the welfare of others.

Emphasizing the philosophy of 'Nar Mein Narayan' (seeing God in every human being), Agarwal said that this belief forms the foundation of true service. He noted that Narayan Seva Sansthan serves people beyond the barriers of caste, religion, and social status. "Here, neither the poor nor the wealthy are treated differently," he said. He added that the simplest way to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva is to avoid causing pain to others and to become a source of support for those in need. Lord Shiva's message inspires us to dedicate ourselves to the protection and welfare of society and humanity. Just as Lord Shiva accepted the poison that emerged during the churning of the ocean to save the world, we too should embrace the spirit of sacrifice and service to help alleviate the suffering of others.

During the programme, Agarwal interacted directly with persons with disabilities undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the institution, along with their family members. He sought their feedback to understand how the institution's services had transformed their lives after joining the rehabilitation programme.

He spoke with Ankur from Madhya Pradesh, Sataram from Barmer, Rajasthan, and Virat from Delhi, learning about their life circumstances, the challenges they faced after acquiring disabilities, and the positive changes brought about through treatment, prosthetic limbs, and other rehabilitation services provided by the institution. He also interacted with their family members to understand their experiences regarding the quality of care and support extended by the Sansthan.

Agarwal said that restoring confidence in the life of a person with a disability and helping them become self-reliant is not merely an act of assistance but a responsibility towards humanity. He urged every capable member of society to contribute to this ongoing journey of service and compassion.
