Udaipur: During the ongoing Chaturmas discourse series at Devendra Dham, revered Dr. Rajendra Muni addressed devotees on the topic "The True Nature of Happiness as Described in the Sukh Vipak Agam." He emphasized that genuine happiness does not come from material possessions or external comforts but from inner peace, self-realization, and spiritual wisdom.
Dr. Rajendra Muni said that people constantly strive to accumulate material wealth and worldly comforts in search of happiness. However, such pleasures are temporary. The relentless pursuit of desires and luxuries often leads to stress, restlessness, and various mental and physical problems. When individuals remain focused solely on external pleasures, they gradually become inwardly empty and dissatisfied.
Drawing upon the teachings of the Agam scriptures, he highlighted the significance of Samyak Darshan (Right Faith), Samyak Gyan (Right Knowledge), and Samyak Charitra (Right Conduct). He explained that the contentment attained through self-realization forms the true foundation of lasting peace. He further stated that along with a healthy body, a healthy and tranquil mind is equally essential, as even the greatest material comforts cannot bring joy to a disturbed mind.
In his discourse, Dr. Rajendra Muni urged devotees to maintain a balance between worldly responsibilities and spiritual practice by making spiritual contemplation an integral part of daily life. He said that self-reflection, self-discipline, and religious practice are the keys to attaining enduring happiness and mental equilibrium.
A large number of devotees attended the religious assembly and received spiritual inspiration from the discourse.
