Samvad Se Samadhan National Dialogue Held at Lok Bhavan, Dehradun
Mahavirayatan Foundation’s initiative brought together eminent leaders, thinkers, and dignitaries from across India
Dehradun : A historic and inspiring edition of the national dialogue “Samvad Se Samadhan”, inspired by the timeless teachings of Lord Mahavira, was successfully organized at Lok Bhavan, Dehradun, under the guidance of Swami Devendra Brahmachari, Founder of Mahavirayatan Foundation. The event focused on nation-building, social harmony, ethical values, and constructive dialogue. The programme was graced by Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd.) as the Chief Guest. Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, Cabinet Minister, Government of Uttarakhand, and Mahant Shri Lokesh Das Ji Maharaj attended as Guests of Honour, alongside eminent saints, academicians, jurists, administrators, social leaders, and distinguished delegates from across the country. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before the portrait of Lord Mahavira, followed by a cultural presentation by the students of The Lakshya Public Senior Secondary School, Badhwala, Dehradun. The Foundation also welcomed all distinguished guests with traditional shawls and ceremonial scarves. On the occasion, Advocate Anand Prakash Yadav, Dr. Prabhakiran Jain, Shri Piyush Jain, Shri Sandeep Jain, and Er. J. C. Jain, Chairman of COER University, Roorkee, were honoured with commemorative mementoes and certificates for their outstanding contributions in their respective fields. Addressing the gathering, Governor Lt. Gen. Gurmit Singh (Retd.) emphasized that dialogue is the most effective path to lasting solutions and highlighted the continued relevance of Lord Mahavira’s ideals of peace, compassion, and coexistence. Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat underlined the importance of value-based education and meaningful dialogue in shaping a stronger and more responsible society, while Mahant Shri Lokesh Das Ji Maharaj stressed that service, harmony, and mutual respect remain the foundation of a progressive nation. Speaking on the occasion, Swami Devendra Brahmachari said that “Samvad Se Samadhan” is a national movement dedicated to strengthening social harmony, promoting human values, and inspiring collective responsibility for nation-building through the teachings of Lord Mahavira. Shri Chandrakumar Jajodia, Trustee of Mahavirayatan Foundation, welcomed the dignitaries and appreciated the support of all participants and partner organizations. The programme was gracefully anchored by Ms. Akshata Jain, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Shri Sohan Giri. In his concluding remarks, Swami Devendra Brahmachari expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Hon’ble Governor, distinguished guests, saints, speakers, awardees, partner organizations, The Lakshya Public Senior Secondary School, media fraternity, volunteers, and the entire Mahavirayatan Foundation team for making the event a grand success. The programme concluded with a collective resolve to promote the timeless values of peace, compassion, dialogue, and social harmony, carrying forward Lord Mahavira’s vision of a stronger, more united, and value-driven India.
