Trishla Jagriti Manch Plants Medicinal and Fruit-Bearing Saplings
Udaipur: Trishla Jagriti Manch launched the ‘Hariyalo Rajasthan – One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign on Thursday by organizing a plantation drive at the Municipal Corporation park near Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 14, Udaipur. Members of the organization planted medicinal and fruit-bearing saplings, promoting the message of environmental conservation while pledging to nurture and protect the plants until they grow into healthy trees.
Addressing the gathering, Trishla Jagriti Manch President Dr. Kiran Jain highlighted the importance of greenery and environmental conservation. She said that tree plantation becomes truly meaningful only when the saplings are cared for regularly and protected until they mature into trees. She encouraged everyone to plant more trees and inspire others to participate in environmental conservation efforts.
Programme Coordinators Ruchi Jain and Dolly Jain emphasized that tree plantation is not only a means of protecting the environment but also a responsibility towards future generations. They stated that the ‘One Tree in Mother’s Name’ campaign symbolizes respect for both nature and motherhood while reinforcing the organization's commitment to social service and environmental sustainability.
The plantation drive was attended by General Secretary Poonam Jain, Dolly Jain, Jyoti Singhvi, Vishakha Jain, Shilpa Sangawat, Sangeeta Mehta, Sejal Sangawat, Manju Timarwa, Pushpa Pancholi, and Babita Lawrence, Principal of Shishu Niketan Public School, along with a large number of office-bearers, members, and volunteers. The event concluded with a collective pledge to continue contributing towards a greener and healthier Rajasthan through sustained plantation and conservation efforts.
