MPUAT to Host AgriVision-2026 Regional Conference on August 8


Udaipur, August 7: Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, will host the two-day North-West Regional Conference “AgriVision-2026” on August 8 and 9, 2026, at the Maharana Pratap Auditorium, Rajasthan College of Agriculture campus. The conference aims to connect youth with modern agricultural technologies, innovation, research, and entrepreneurship to accelerate technological transformation in the agriculture sector.

The conference will be inaugurated on August 8 at 10:00 AM by the Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, who will attend as the chief guest. The event will be chaired by MPUAT Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pratap Singh, while ABVP National Co-Organization Secretary Shri S. Balakrishna will attend as the guest of honor.

Organizing Secretary Dr. Lokesh Gupta said the conference seeks to encourage young people to move beyond traditional farming and engage with emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, drone technology, digital agriculture, precision farming, agricultural value addition, agri-startups, and agri-entrepreneurship, making agriculture more profitable, sustainable, and technology-driven.

The conference will feature several technical sessions in which researchers, students, scientists, academicians, innovators, and experts from agriculture and allied sectors will present research papers and share their ideas. The platform is expected to strengthen collaboration among agricultural education, research, innovation, and industry.

The advisory board includes vice-chancellors of Rajasthan’s agricultural universities from Bikaner, Jobner, Kota, and Jodhpur, along with national office bearers of ABVP and renowned experts from various fields.

According to the organizers, AgriVision-2026 will provide a significant platform for advancing agricultural education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while connecting youth with the future of smart, sustainable, and technology-based agriculture. The conference is also expected to contribute meaningfully to the national goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
