Geetanjali University Awards Ph.D. Degree to Mrs. Sarita Jain
Udaipur: Geetanjali University awarded the Ph.D. degree to Mrs. Sarita Jain in the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Mrs. Jain completed her research under the guidance of Dr. Anamika Vyas, Professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology, Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur.
The title of Mrs. Jain’s research was “Phenotypic and Genotypic Identification of Carbapenemase-Producing Enterobacterales in a Tertiary Care Teaching Hospital in Southern Rajasthan.”
The research focused on the identification of carbapenemase-producing Enterobacterales and the study of their antimicrobial resistance characteristics. The findings are significant in the areas of infection control, appropriate treatment, and antimicrobial resistance, contributing to improved understanding and management of drug-resistant bacterial infections.
