Two-Day Workshop on “Rapid UI/UX Prototyping with Google Stitch” Held at Pacific Polytechnic College
Udaipur: A two-day workshop on “Rapid UI/UX Prototyping with Google Stitch” was organized at Pacific Polytechnic College, Udaipur, with the objective of introducing students to modern artificial intelligence-based website and mobile application designing techniques.
College Director Dr. Mukesh Shrimali informed that the workshop was conducted by Rajeev Sharma, who served as the chief trainer. He provided practical training on how to create professional-grade UI/UX designs for websites and mobile applications using advanced AI tools such as Google Stitch, without requiring any coding knowledge.
Rajeev Sharma explained that Google Stitch is an AI-powered tool capable of generating user interfaces, prototypes and frontend code based on prompts provided by the user. During the workshop, students learned the techniques of writing effective prompts, enabling them to design attractive, user-friendly and modern interfaces according to their requirements.
The training covered various aspects of UI/UX design, including website and mobile app layouts, screen flows, color combinations, component design and methods for creating better user experiences. Participants were also shown how AI-based design tools can generate initial project designs within minutes.
In addition, Rajeev Sharma demonstrated the complete workflow of generating frontend code through AI, exporting designs, handing them over to development teams and preparing projects ready for website and mobile application development.
Addressing the students, Dr. Mukesh Shrimali said that artificial intelligence is bringing significant changes to education, industry, software development and design. He emphasized that knowledge of AI-based tools will become essential for every technical student in the future. Such training programs help students acquire industry-relevant skills and play an important role in improving their employability.
He also encouraged students to use artificial intelligence in a creative and responsible manner and to work towards innovation and entrepreneurship.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants described the industry-oriented training as highly useful and expressed their expectation that similar technical training programs should be organized regularly in the future.
