MP and MLA Inaugurate Community Development Works in Gangrar Area

Gangrar: A grand ceremony for the inauguration and foundation laying of various development projects was organized on Saturday at Semliya village under Chogawadi Gram Panchayat. Development works worth approximately ₹4.57 crore were dedicated to the people of the area.

Speaking as the chief guest, MP C. P. Joshi said that the development of villages forms the strong foundation of the nation’s progress. Presiding over the programme, Begun MLA Dr. Suresh Dhakad said that the comprehensive development of every village in his constituency remains his top priority.

The MP appreciated the community development initiatives undertaken by Hindustan Zinc under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme and described the company’s contribution as exemplary. He said that initiatives in education, healthcare, and basic infrastructure are continuously benefiting local communities.

As part of these efforts, a community centre constructed at Khuntiya at a cost of ₹20 lakh and a new community centre and renovation works at Semliya costing ₹45 lakh were inaugurated and foundation stones laid under Hindustan Zinc’s CSR initiatives. These facilities will provide villagers with improved infrastructure for social and community activities.

Local representatives, including Bhairu Singh Chauhan, Devi Singh Ranawat, Devi Lal Jat, and Panchayat Administrator Bahadur Singh Ranawat, also addressed the gathering.

From Hindustan Zinc, CSR Head Sundarraj Naidu, Civil Head Kamakhya Singh, Indresh, and members of the CSR team attended the event. A large number of villagers and public representatives were also present.
