### Blood Donation Drive on MLA Ghedar's Birthday

**Suratgarh:** September 2, 2024. MLA Dunger Ram Ghedar’s 58th birthday will be celebrated as a Service Day on September 4. A large-scale blood donation camp will be held at the Arodevansh Dharmshala in Suratgarh. Dr. Gaurishankar Nimiwal, Coordinator of the Service Institute, Rajasthan, stated that the blood donation camp will see active participation from workers of the Suratgarh assembly constituency, who will perform the noble task of donating blood.

In addition, the Service Institute has announced that various programs such as blood donation, tree plantation, medical check-up camps, distribution of stationery to underprivileged children, providing food to the sick, and feeding green fodder and jaggery to cows in gaushalas will be organized at district and sub-district headquarters across Rajasthan.

It is noteworthy that MLA Ghedar’s birthday has been associated with blood donation drives for the past 10 years, where thousands of units of blood are collected and provided to those in need. This year, from August 30 to September 15, Service Day will be celebrated across Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Delhi with various public welfare activities.
