##### Five Motion Education Students Secure Top 100 Ranks

In the JEE Advanced 2024 results, students from Motion Education have once again achieved outstanding success. Five students from Motion have secured positions in the top 100 ranks. A celebration of this achievement will be held on Monday at Motion's Drona Campus in the Indraprastha Industrial Area.

Nitin Vijay, the founder and CEO of Motion Education, stated that the team has once again proven its excellence. The top 100 ranks include Shekhar Jha at All India Rank (AIR) 28, Ishan Gupta at 31, Amar Sinha at 91, Harendra Agrawal at 93, and Tanay Chetan Kakalia at 99. Additionally, 60 Motion students have ranked within the top 1000 in the General and OBC categories, and 10 students have secured positions within the top 500 in the SC and ST categories. Due to server issues, final results for all students are still pending, so the final selection ratio cannot yet be shared.

**Continuous Self-Study is Essential - Shekhar Jha, AIR 28**

Shekhar Jha, who secured AIR 28 in JEE Advanced 2024, emphasized the importance of determination and continuous focus on goals for success. He credited classroom coaching, self-study, practice, revision, and topic-wise short notes for easing his path to success. Shekhar highlighted the experience and supportiveness of Motion's faculty and recommended that every student follow their guidelines. Regular mock tests and a disciplined environment make Motion the best choice.

**Increased Cut-Off for JEE Advanced 2024**

Nitin Vijay noted that this year's cut-off has increased compared to the previous year. The General category cut-off has risen from 86 to 109, OBC/EWS from 77 to 98, and SC/ST from 43 to 54. The subject-wise cut-off has also increased from 8 to 10 marks.

**JoSAA Counseling Begins Today**

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling will commence on June 10 and will proceed through five rounds until July 26. Successful JEE Advanced 2024 students can participate in this counseling to secure admissions in 23 IITs, 32 NITs, 26 IIITs, and 40 GFTIs according to their ranks. Students have a single opportunity to fill their choices from over 600 programs across 121 institutions, so they should prioritize as many colleges as possible in descending order of preference. According to JoSAA counseling rules, the first seat allocation for all students will be based on open rank, and if a seat is not allocated on the open rank, it will be done according to their category rank.

After seat allocation in JoSAA counseling, students will need to upload scanned copies of their 10th and 12th mark sheets, category certificates, a canceled check, and a medical certificate during online reporting. EWS and OBC students must provide a category certificate issued after April 1, 2024, or their category will be canceled, and they will be allocated a seat based on open rank.
