Hindustan Zinc collaborates with the Ministry of Education

In collaboration with Hindustan Zinc Limited, the Ministry of Education, Government of India, organized a Mega Industry Meet National Training Program Workshop at the premises of Hindustan Zinc. The workshop saw the presence of representatives from over 40 industries, including government officials such as Manas Khawas, Assistant Director of BEC NAR, Munish Vasudeva, Chief Human Resources Officer of Hindustan Zinc Limited, and Piyush Vardiya, Deputy General Manager (Human Resources) of Hindustan Zinc Limited.

Manas Khawas, Assistant Director of BEC NAR, highlighted the objectives of the National Training Program and provided detailed information on its effectiveness, the need for skill development, implementation of NAPS in Rajasthan, and the expectations of stakeholders in Rajasthan. He emphasized that participants in the program receive on-the-job training to enhance their skills and establish employment. Trainees also receive stipends during their training. Prospective participants and interested candidates can enroll and obtain more information on the NAPS web portal.

Munish Vasudeva addressed the current industrial landscape, emphasizing the necessity of skills and competency among youth. He encouraged participating industries to collaborate in creating plans for developing a skilled workforce for future self-reliance and partnership ventures. He highlighted the diverse CSR activities conducted by Hindustan Zinc in the fields of education, health, lifestyle, empowerment, and more.

The workshop witnessed the participation of various industries, including P&I Industries, JK Tyre, GR Infra Projects Limited, Taj Group of Hotels, Coromandel International, Secure Meters, Pacific, Miraj Group, Geetanjali Hospital and University, Rajesh Motors, IConnect Solutions, Arcgate Technology, Vardia Hotels, Five Splash Infotech, Kensoft Solutions, Mackson Labs, and others.
