Tribal Daughter Receives Marriage Assistance of ₹51,000

Under the initiative of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, urban and rural service camps are being organized across the state as part of the Seva Pakhwada. These camps are providing citizens with instant benefits of various government schemes, while long-pending cases are being resolved within minutes, spreading joy among the people.

In Udaipur district, under the guidance of District Collector Namit Mehta, service camps are being held in all urban bodies and two gram panchayats of each tehsil. A large number of people are attending these camps and availing themselves of government schemes. Public representatives are also visiting the camps to spread awareness and encourage citizens to take maximum benefit.

On Thursday, a camp for wards 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 of Udaipur Municipal Corporation was organized at Meera Kala Mandir premises, Paras Choraha. Simultaneously, rural service camps were held across various gram panchayats, including Khujri, Barapal, Kurabad, Zinc Smelter, Bichhadi, Kavita, Lakhawali, Gadoli, Golwada, Gotipa, Balathal, Kanduya, Singhada, Patiya, Jaswantgarh, Singhada, Nandeshma, Mohammad Falasia, Badrana, Panarwa, Gurad, Parbila, Banjariya, Demat, Guda, Kojawada, Bhudhar, Kotda, and Nichla Subari.

Relief Delivered Through Camps

At these camps, matters related to revenue, pension, cattle insurance, and other schemes were resolved on the spot. Eligible individuals who had been left out of schemes were also linked to receive benefits.

In Girwa tehsil’s Khajuri Gram Panchayat, an application was made for marriage assistance under the Chief Minister Kanyadaan Yojana for Sugna Meena, daughter of a tribal BPL family. Under the supervision of the camp in-charge, Trilokchand Kirodiwal from the Social Justice and Empowerment Department assisted the family in completing documents and forwarding the application. Social Security Officer Girwa, Harshit Kumar Pancholi, immediately approved assistance of ₹51,000. At the camp, Udaipur Rural MLA Phoolsingh Meena and Girwa SDM Avula Saikrishna handed over the approval letter to the beneficiary, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister and district administration.

Similarly, at the rural service camp held in Singhada Gram Panchayat of Gogunda tehsil, a five-year-old pending mutation case of Bhupendra Singh, son of Hari Singh from Kesar Singh Ji ka Guda, was resolved within five minutes, providing much-needed relief.

Support Under Palanhar Yojana for Granddaughters

In another camp organized at Kojawada Gram Panchayat in Rishabhdev area, applicant Shanta Devi shared that her two granddaughters were left in her care after their father Raju passed away and their mother left under the nata pratha tradition. With no other support besides their elderly grandmother, the children—both studying in school—were in need of assistance.

On the instructions of Sub-Divisional Officer Bhag Chand Regar, Assistant Accounts Officer (Social Justice and Empowerment Department) Lalit Parmar processed the application and enrolled Shanta Devi as guardian under the Palanhar Yojana. With this, the two granddaughters received the scheme’s benefits, bringing visible relief and happiness to their grandmother, who expressed deep gratitude to the administration and officials.
