Professor Hemendra Chandalia, Invited as Keynote Speaker for International Conference in Nepal

daipur,  Professor Hemendra Chandalia, former Head of the Department of English and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, has been extended an invitation as the keynote speaker for an upcoming international conference in Kathmandu, Nepal. The conference, organized by the Nepal English Language Teachers' Association as part of its 28th Annual Convention, is scheduled to take place from February 17 to 19, 2024.

The theme of the conference, 'Rethinking ELT in Diversity: Equity, Inclusion, and Innovation,' reflects a global concern on how to make English language teaching inclusive, innovative, and equitable. Professor Chandalia will deliver his lecture on 'Policy Imperatives for Asserting Inclusivity and Equity in ELT' during the event.

The distinguished lineup of speakers for the conference includes international experts such as Professor Stephen Creshon from the United States, Professor Maria Vilalabos from America, and Sarah Robinson from England. Additionally, Professor Jib Lal Sapkota from Nepal will share insights from the local perspective.

The three-day conference aims to explore global perspectives on making English language education more inclusive, innovative, and equitable. Scholars and experts from around the world will participate, contributing to discussions on inclusive and forward-looking English language teaching methodologies.

Professor Chandalia is set to depart for Nepal on February 16, marking the beginning of the conference that promises to be a platform for robust discussions and valuable insights into the future of English language education."
