Udaipur.Under the auspices of the Vigyan Samiti, the Philosophy of Science Cell organized a seminar on two thought-provoking themes: “Bhagavad Gita in Lifestyle” and “Faith in the Existence of God.”
Gita as a Guide to Balanced Living
On this occasion, Shri Piyush Dashora, Principal of Government Senior Upadhyay Sanskrit School, Sankariya (Gogunda), delivered his address on the theme “Bhagavad Gita in Lifestyle.” He stated that the central message of the Gita is to adopt equanimity for peace and happiness in life and to renounce ego. Maintaining balance in all circumstances, he emphasized, forms the foundation of a virtuous lifestyle.
Faith as Compassion and Service
In continuation, Engineer R. K. Chatur shared his views on “Faith in the Existence of God.” He remarked that man should live in the present and nurture compassion, service, and a spirit of cooperation toward all beings. This, he explained, represents the true essence of faith in God.
Role of Gita and Universal Power
Media in-charge Prof. Vimal Sharma highlighted that the Gita inspires individuals to walk on the path of duty, while recognizing God as an all-pervading power instills compassion and service in human hearts. Equanimity and the renunciation of ego bring balance to life, whereas faith and cooperation give it meaning. The essence of philosophy, he added, lies in experiencing divinity within oneself and extending service outward into the world.
Contributions by Eminent Scholars
The seminar was further enriched by the thoughts of eminent scholars, including Dr. Parasmal Agrawal, Dr. Kundanlal Kothari, Dr. Mahip Bhatnagar, Dr. Prem Suman Jain, Dr. D. S. Baya, Engineer R. K.
