First Mega Diagnostic and Intervention Centre Launched in Rajasthan

Udaipur, Rajasthan’s first state-of-the-art Mega Diagnostic and Intervention Centre was inaugurated today at Madhuban, Udaipur. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by eminent medical personalities including Dr. Anand Gupta, Dr. M.M. Mangal, former Principal of RNT Medical College Dr. Lakhan Poswal, Dr. Bharat Gupta, and Dr. Bharat Jain.

On the occasion, Directors Dr. Bharat Gupta and Dr. Bharat Jain highlighted that this centre is Rajasthan’s first advanced and comprehensive diagnostic and intervention hub, designed to provide all modern medical facilities under one roof. This initiative is expected to deliver accurate and timely diagnosis along with specialized treatment, reducing the need for patients to travel to distant cities like Ahmedabad.

The centre is equipped to conduct a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures including blood tests, X-ray, ultrasound (sonography), colour Doppler, CT scan, MRI, histopathology, IHC (Immunohistochemistry), guided biopsies, FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology), interventional procedures, varicose vein treatment, peripheral stenting, embolization, kidney fistuloplasty, uterine fibroid treatment, liver jaundice and cirrhosis-related investigations.

Additionally, specialized pregnancy-related services will be offered such as fetal sonography, anomaly scans, and amniocentesis. Advanced testing like abdominal fat quantification, liver blood tests with sonography-guided biopsy and FNAC, fistula evaluation for kidney dialysis patients, and advanced CT diagnostics such as CT enteroclysis and enterography will also be available.

A team of specialist doctors will be available at the centre, including Dr. Bharat Gupta (SGPGI Lucknow), Dr. Bharat Jain (Fetal Radiology), Dr. Hitesh Sharma (Sonography), and Dr. Pranveer Rao (Pathology).

Speaking at the inauguration, dignitaries described the launch as a milestone for Udaipur and Rajasthan, marking a significant step towards making world-class diagnostic and interventional medical care accessible locally. With cutting-edge technology and a team of expert doctors, the Mega Diagnostic and Intervention Centre promises to redefine healthcare services in the region.
