Rotary Club Mewar to Provide Free Coaching to 3,000 Students

Udaipur, The installation ceremony of Rotary Club Mewar for the Rotary year 2025–26 was held at Essentia Resort, Umerda. The event was graced by Rotary District Governor Pragya Mehta as the chief guest, with former District Governor Nirmal Singhvi and District Governor Nominee Deepak Sukhadia as special guests.

During the ceremony, District Governor Rtn. Pragya Mehta administered the oath to newly elected President Manish Ganna and Secretary Mukesh Sharma, while Nirmal Singhvi administered the oath to the new board members including Rajeev Jain, Dinmay Chaudhary, Mukesh Gurani, Hansraj Choudhary (Patron), Anil Mehta, Pawan Kothari, Dr. Arun Bapna, Sandeep Singhathwaria, Kapoor C. Jain, Ashish Harkawat, outgoing president Snehdeep Bhanawat, Suresh Jain, Yogesh Pagaria, Anand Bhutalia, Manish Kalika, and Sunit Ordia.

In her address, Pragya Mehta emphasized that consistent dialogue is essential for resolving any issue, and being a part of Rotary helps members enhance their leadership qualities. Nirmal Singhvi added that organizations that fail to deliver timely service will lag behind in the race of social contribution, while Rotary continues to turn despair into hope.

In his presidential address, President Manish Ganna announced that the club will focus entirely on education this year. Rotary Club Mewar will collaborate with top educators of the city to provide free coaching to 3,000 underprivileged students. Additionally, it will sponsor 50% of the English-speaking course fees for 500 children, and adopt 15 needy children, covering their full education expenses. The club also plans to organize 10 blood donation camps to collect 2,000 units of blood to support thalassemia patients.

The club will also donate essential medical equipment to Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital, organize self-defense training camps for girls, and adopt a city intersection for complete development.

On this occasion, Deepak Sukhadia administered the oath to five new members — Anupam Luhadia, Rohit Bhanawat, Dr. Narendra Rathore, Rajesh Jain, and Amit Kothari.

Renowned international poet Rao Azad Shatru entertained the audience with his poetry.

Hansraj Choudhary, the club's patron, highlighted the 23-year-long service journey of the club, noting that all permanent projects launched by the club are still ongoing.

The event began with a welcome address by Snehdeep Bhanawat, and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Secretary Mukesh Sharma. The program was emceed by Yogesh Pagaria.

Several dignitaries, including Girish Sharma (President, Kaladwas Industrial Area), Rajendra Surana (President, Laghu Udyog Bharati), and Hemant Jain, along with office bearers from various Rotary Clubs, were also present.
