Tree Plantation Ceremony Marks New Year at MPUAT’s Farm Machinery Department

Udaipur – The Department of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) welcomed the New Year with a tree plantation drive. The initiative, which began in 2023, continued this year with the planting of approximately 50 saplings.

Dr. Sanwal Singh Meena, Head of the Department, stated that the department has been consistently organizing this program every year to mark the beginning of the New Year in an environmentally conscious way. This year’s plantation included Jamun, Fig, Ashoka, and various ornamental plants.

All staff members actively participated in the event. Each staff member planted one tree and took personal responsibility for its care. Notable attendees included Dr. C. P. Doshi, Dr. Naveen Kumar C., Engr. Narendra Kumar Yadav, Engr. Bharat Kumar, Engr. Mohit, Engr. Yashpal Yadav, Mr. Narayan, Mr. Rosan, Mr. Irshad, Mr. Bhanwar, Mr. Mohan, and other departmental staff.
