J.R. Cricket Academy Secures Victory Against Titans Club in Mevad Cup Tournament

Udaipur: In the ongoing Mevad Cup competition at the Field Club Ground in Lake City, J.R. Cricket Academy emerged victorious over Titans Club, defeating them by a margin of 69 runs. Arjun Meena from Titans Club played a commendable innings of 44 runs, but his efforts were not enough to secure a win for the team.

According to the organizers Naman Agrawal and Kuldeep Ameria, J.R. Cricket Academy batted first and set a target of 196 runs, losing nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Lakhna Bharti's powerful contribution of 42 runs, supported by Divy Gajraj's 30 runs, played a crucial role in achieving the score. In response, Titans Club managed to score only 127 runs, losing eight wickets in the specified overs, resulting in a defeat by 69 runs.

Bilal Akhtar and Harshit Dhabai, the organizers, mentioned that in another match, Mevad Tourism Club secured their third consecutive victory in the competition. Batting first, Mevad Tourism Club set a target of 179 runs, losing nine wickets in the determined overs. Sumit Godara contributed 38 runs, and Aman Rajawat added 30 runs to the total. In reply, Saraswat Sports Club couldn't even complete the specified overs, losing all wickets at 118 runs and facing a defeat by 61 runs.

Chandrapalsingh, the organizer, informed that with the support of PIMS Hospital Umrada and Mirage Pipes and Fittings, the second season of the tournament has attracted renowned cricketers like Ravi Bishnoi, Rahul Chahar, Vaibhav Arora, Shivam Mavi, Mahipal Lomror, Kunal Singh Rathore, Abhijeet Tomar, Riple Patel, Saurabh Chauhan, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, and many others.
