Falcon Restarts Udaipur–Pune Bus Service with Enhanced Focus on Passenger Safety

Udaipur: Leading intercity transport operator Falcon Bus has resumed its Udaipur–Pune service from December 1, reinforcing its commitment to safe and reliable travel. The service has been relaunched with upgraded safety features, responding to increasing passenger demand.

Falcon Bus was the first operator to introduce Volvo services on the Mumbai–Udaipur route. The Udaipur–Pune service, originally launched in 2016, had to be suspended in June 2025 due to heavy congestion and operational challenges around Mumbai. With conditions improving, the service has now been reintroduced to meet the rising intercity travel requirements.

Falcon has established a reputation for providing comfortable, safe, and dependable long-distance road travel. Its 2x2 Volvo buses on the Mumbai, Udaipur, and Nathdwara routes have set new benchmarks for passenger comfort. Notably, the Udaipur–Nathdwara route remains one of the company’s most popular services.

The introduction of sleeper buses significantly improved comfort on overnight journeys. Even during challenging times for the transport sector, Falcon maintained consistent services on key religious and commercial routes, ensuring safe and timely travel for passengers.

The reinstated Udaipur–Pune route continues this legacy with an enhanced emphasis on safety. The Volvo 9600 buses deployed on the route are designed for superior comfort and security. They feature real-time GPS tracking, speed-governed engines, anti-skid braking systems, CCTV surveillance, and emergency alert mechanisms. Passengers will also benefit from improved sleeper arrangements, sanitized cabins, and onboard monitoring systems.
