Guru Purnima Celebrated with Guru and Hand Pump Worship by Inner Wheel Club

 

Udaipur:On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the members of the Inner Wheel Club Udaipur celebrated the festival with students at MGGS School, Ward No. 4, Eklavya Colony, with a unique blend of guru worship and hand pump worship.

Club member Maya Kumbhat emphasized the importance of teachers, calling them eternally revered figures. Club President Chandrakala Kothari stated that after the mother, it is the teacher who shapes a person’s life. Secretary Advocate Babita Jain described the guru as the thread of knowledge that binds and leads the way.

On this occasion, Water Hero Dr. P.C. Jain shared an inspiring story in the Mewari dialect about two parrots raised by different teachers, highlighting how the nature of a guru directly influences the kind of person one becomes. He also thanked the Inner Wheel Club for implementing a rooftop rainwater harvesting system in the school under his guidance.

The staff was trained on how to use the rainwater harvesting system effectively. Principal Sunita Chandel addressed the students and expressed her gratitude to the Inner Wheel Club for selecting the school under its "Happy School" initiative.

Present on the occasion were Dr. P.C. Jain, Club President Chandrakala Kothari, Secretary Advocate Babita Jain, and Maya Kumbhat, who collectively made the celebration meaningful and insightful for the students.
