The normal level of calcium in the body's blood is between 8.5 and 10.2 mg/litre. If the calcium level in the blood is less than 8.5 mg/dL, it is called hypocalcaemia. And if the calcium level in the blood is higher than 10.2 mg/dL, it is called hypercalcaemia.
