Kota, Seventeen foreign medical graduates were awarded Internship Completion Certificates at the Divisional Railway Hospital, Kota. The certificates were presented by Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Mr. Anil Kalra under the guidance of Chief Medical Superintendent Dr. Supoorna Sen Roy.
In his address, DRM Kalra emphasized that obtaining an MBBS degree is merely the first step in a long journey. “The true value of a doctor is realized only when the patient feels completely satisfied with the doctor’s treatment, medicine, and behavior,” he said. He further added that the medical field is a noble profession, and without a strong passion for service and commitment, one cannot truly become a good doctor. “Only when you find joy in serving patients should you pursue this path. Otherwise, changing fields is also a valid choice,” he advised.
Dr. Supoorna Sen Roy shared that this is the first batch of interns for the 2024-25 session, and the second batch of 24 students has already joined. She extended her heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to both batches for a successful future.
