Hoop-a-Thon Event for 24 Hours at Celebration Mall in Udaipur

Udaipur,: PFC Education is organizing a two-day 24-hour Hoop-a-Thon event at Celebration Mall on May 4th and 5th. Meenakshi Bhairavani, the founder of Hooper in Udaipur, shared details about this event, stating that it is the second such event organized by their center. Previously, a similar event was held in December.

Event Schedule and Activities

Participants will engage in hoop dancing from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on both May 4th and 5th at Celebration Mall. Specifically designed hoops will be worn around the waist, followed by standing with the right foot forward. Then, participants will balance the hoop and rotate it with full force using one hand. Subsequently, the hoop will continue to rotate continuously on the body's midsection. Participants may also wear rings around their waist, hands, and neck for specialized hoop dancing.

Health Benefits and Participation

Hoop dancing offers numerous health benefits, including control over various diseases, as the navel is also referred to as the center of the body, directly related to several ailments. Additionally, hoop dancing strengthens focus and helps reduce stress. It also provides benefits to cancer patients.

Participants ranging from five to fifty years old have joined from the center. Participants not only from Udaipur but also from outside are involved. One participant, fighting cancer, hails from Mumbai but is reaping the benefits of hoop dancing. In foreign countries, hoop dancing is even taught to children in schools.

Hoop dancing can be performed in various ways, whether standing still or while walking. Some participants have even hoop danced while walking four to five kilometers. Dancing while hoop dancing can increase physical energy up to three times.
