#### Fit India Resonates from Mewar

From the historic land of Mewar, the message of Fit India resounded on Sunday as thousands of youths, athletes, and citizens participated in a cyclothon and marathon held on the banks of the world-famous Fatehsagar Lake. The event was organized under the Fit India Movement of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, marking National Sports Day.

Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Olympic medalist Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, joined the event, cycling alongside the participants and motivating them throughout the route. His presence electrified the atmosphere, with chants of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” filling the air. Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia and Lok Sabha MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat were also present as special guests.

The cyclothon began from Moti Magri Gate, passing through UDA Circle, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Vidya Bhavan, and Dewali before concluding at Taya Palace, covering 3.5 km. The marathon followed a similar route. At the closing ceremony, Rathore urged everyone to take responsibility for their health: “Stay healthy, stay happy. Make good choices daily and surround yourself with positivity.”

Spectators also witnessed thrilling demonstrations of kayaking and canoeing at Fatehsagar Lake. Rathore encouraged the athletes and even joined a dragon boat ride. He also interacted with young skaters and praised their enthusiasm.
