Review of Election Strategy for Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Udaipur . All administrative preparations for the upcoming voting on April 26th in the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency for the second phase of the Lok Sabha general elections 2024 have been completed. On Tuesday, a meeting was held with General Observer Owais Ahmad, Police Observer S. Shanti, and Expenditure Observer Ravi Ranjan Kumar, along with other officials involved in the election, including District Election Officer Arvind Poswal, to discuss the election strategy and current preparations.

During the meeting, discussions were held on maintaining vigilance during the last 72 hours before the conclusion of voting, deployment of security forces, arrangements at critical booths, sealing, webcasting, deployment of drones, and special surveillance at interstate borders. Present at the meeting were District Police Superintendent Yogesh Goyal, Deputy District Election Officer Deependra Singh, Law and Order Department Head Rajeev Dwivedi, Model Code of Conduct Department Head Jitendra Ojha, and Expenditure Department Head KP Singh, among other officers involved in the election.

General Observer Owais Ahmad also reviewed the Integrated Control Room. He gathered information about the functioning of the control room, including the use of the C-Vigil app, toll-free numbers, and the resolution of complaints received at the district control room within the stipulated time frame.
