Collector Meets Entrepreneurs and Traders Ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2024

Udaipur . With voting scheduled for April 26th in the Udaipur Lok Sabha constituency for the second phase of the Lok Sabha general elections 2024, every voter is urged to participate in this celebration of democracy by exercising their voting rights. District Election Officer (Collector) Arvind Poswal and his team are tirelessly working towards this goal.

In line with this effort, the District Election Officer convened a meeting with entrepreneurs and traders on Tuesday, held at the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce, appealing to the employees of industries and commercial establishments to grant leave for voting on polling day. The Collector expressed concern about low voter turnout in industrial areas during previous elections and emphasized that no employee should be deprived of voting as per the Election Commission's directives. Cooperation from all is expected in ensuring that all employees in industrial units and establishments are able to vote by granting them leave on the day of voting.

On this occasion, USCCI's Senior Vice President Anshu Kothari assured everyone of the organization's positive stance and pledged to ensure leave for voting for all active employees in their units. The meeting was attended by several dignitaries including the Secretary-General Manish Gilundia, Senior Deputy General Manager of REICO Ajay Pandey, Senior Regional Manager Sanjay Nainawati, District Industrial Center's General Manager Shailendra Sharma, District Industry Officer Chokha Ram, and Sweep Department Assistant Coordinator Puneet Sharma, along with a large number of entrepreneurs and traders.
