Information Provided to Students about Prevention of Child Marriage

Udaipur . A campaign to raise awareness about the prevention of child marriage is being conducted by the Child Helpline team under the auspices of the Child Rights Department in various secondary and higher secondary schools as well as government departments in the city. Project Coordinator Navneet Oudhichya stated that in this campaign, members of the Child Helpline provided information to students about preventing child marriage and about the Child Helpline number 1098. Additionally, posters were unveiled and distributed among the students present. Information was also provided about the negative effects of child marriage and related laws on this occasion.
