Dr. B.L. Kumar appointed Vice Chancellor of Sai Tirupati University

Udaipur: Dr. B.L. Kumar has assumed the position of President (Vice Chancellor) at Sai Tirupati University, located in Umrada, Udaipur. Dr. Kumar has been serving as a professor in the orthopedic department of the university's medical college for several years. During the assumption of his duties, the university's Chairman, Ashish Agrawal, Mrs. Sheetal Agrawal, Dr. Suresh Goyal, Registrar Dr. Devendra Jain, and other officials were present. They congratulated Dr. Kumar, acknowledging his seniority and surgical expertise, expressing confidence in his leadership benefiting the university in various ways.

Dr. Kumar expressed his commitment to further advancing the university by continuing ongoing projects and introducing new medical-related initiatives. He noted the institute's progress since its inception, highlighting the increasing number of students studying at the institute. Presently, PIMS has 750 MBBS and 200 PG students. 

It is noteworthy that Dr. Kumar has been associated with the university since March 2015, serving as the Principal and Controller for almost a year. Prior to that, he rendered services at the orthopedic department of RNT Medical College for 20 years before retiring as a Senior Professor and Department Head in 2014.
