Titans Triumph Over Saraswat Sports Club in Mewar Cup Second Season

Udaipur: In the second day of matches at the Mewar Cup on the Lakeside Club field, Titans Club secured a victory over Saraswat Sports Club by a substantial margin of 19 runs. Despite Anmol's impressive contribution of 91 runs off 44 balls, Saraswat Sports Club couldn't clinch the win.

Organizers Naman Agrawal and Kuldeep Ameriya revealed that Titans set a formidable score of 219 runs, losing four wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Rohan scored 82 runs with six sixes and seven boundaries, while Karan Lamba contributed 44 runs with two sixes and four boundaries off 26 balls. In response, Saraswat Sports Club managed to score only 200 runs, losing six wickets, falling short by 19 runs.

Meanwhile, in another match, Mewar Tourism Club notched up their second consecutive win. G.R. Cricket Academy set a target of 179 runs, losing eight wickets, with Divy Gajraj contributing 55 and Rohit Khinchad scoring 49 runs. In reply, Mewar Tourism Club achieved the target, scoring 62 runs in 17.4 overs, losing three wickets.

During both matches, awards were distributed by Anil Patel, the Secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association and a nine-time Manager for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Patel, who also served as the manager for the Indian team during the World Cup Cricket final, distributed the prizes.

The second season, sponsored by PIMS Hospital Umrada and Mirage Pipes & Fittings, features renowned cricketers like Ravi Bishnoi, Rahul Chahar, Vankatesh Iyer, Shivam Mavi, Mahipal Lomror, Kunal Singh Rathore, Abhijeet Tomar, Ripple Patel, Saurabh Chauhan, Kamlesh Nagarkoti, among others.

Organizers Harshit Dhabai and Bilal Akhtar announced special prizes for the audience daily, with the lucky draw winner in the final receiving an electric scooter.
