Three-Day International Conference on “Trends of Transformation in Oncology” from August 22 in Udaipur

Udaipur – A three-day International Conference on “Trends of Transformation in Oncology” will be held from 22nd to 24th August at Pacific Medical College & Hospital (PMCH), Udaipur, jointly organized by Menken Foundation and Cancer Research & Statistic Foundation, under the leadership of Dr. Manoj Mahajan, Director & Senior Consultant, Medical Oncology, PMCH.

Chairman of Pacific Medical University, Rahul Agrawal, extended his best wishes, stating that the event will prove to be a milestone in cancer treatment and oncology research.

Program Director Dr. Manoj Mahajan informed that over 100 oncologists, researchers, and medical specialists from across India will participate and share their knowledge and experiences. This is the fifth consecutive oncology conference in Udaipur, which has consistently provided a platform for experts to discuss latest advancements and applications in cancer care.

📌 Special OPD for Public
For greater public involvement and to provide second opinions for cancer patients, special OPD consultations will be held from 22–24 August at Sunrise Cancer Care Clinic, Saubhagpura, Udaipur. International and national experts including Dr. Nguyen Duy Sinh (Japan), Dr. Vijay Patil (Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai), and Dr. Ashay Karpe will be available for patient consultations.

🔬 Conference Highlights:

  • Day 1 (Aug 22): Opening session by Dr. Nguyen Duy Sinh on CAR-T Cell Therapy for DLBCL, ALL, and Multiple Myeloma, followed by discussions on side effects like CRS and ICANS, and sessions on dual-target CARs and gene-edited cells.

  • Day 2 (Aug 23): Sessions led by Dr. Vijay Patil and Dr. Manoj Mahajan focusing on Cellular Therapy in Breast, Lung, Head & Neck, Kidney, and Prostate cancers. Workshops on ctDNA, CTCs for cancer monitoring, and establishing CAR-T Cell Units will also be conducted.

  • Day 3 (Aug 24): Dr. Ashay Karpe will address Gastroesophageal and Gynecological cancers, with a focus on targeted therapies including CLDN18.2 and HER2. The conference will conclude with case studies and panel discussions.

Dr. Mahajan emphasized that new innovations in oncology such as Cellular Therapy, Immunotherapy, and Liquid Biopsy are not only raising awareness but also equipping doctors with advanced knowledge that can be applied in routine cancer care practices.
