Udaipur: Dr. Atul Luhadia, Chest and TB Specialist and Interventional Pulmonologist at Pacific Medical College and Hospital, has been awarded the prestigious “Dr. Vivek Atheya Memorial Rajasthan State Indian Chest Society Academic Excellence Award 2025” for his outstanding contributions and research in the field of respiratory medicine. The honor was presented during a ceremony held at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur.
The ceremony’s chief guest, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Berwa, personally presented the award to Dr. Luhadia. Notably, only one chest specialist from across Rajasthan is selected for this distinction each year, highlighting the award’s exclusivity.
Dr. Luhadia received this recognition for his pioneering research in respiratory medicine, exceptional clinical services, and successful application of new techniques in patient treatment. He has effectively managed numerous complex cases, earning a remarkable reputation in the medical community and significantly improving patients’ quality of life.
During the accompanying Rajpulmocon State Conference, Dr. Luhadia delivered a well-received lecture on “The Role of Medical Thoracoscopy in Undiagnosed and Complicated Pleural Effusions”, which was highly appreciated by experts and participants alike.
