Republic Day Main Event Hosted at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar College

Shriganganagar: The main event commemorating Republic Day (January 26, 2024) was organized on Friday morning at the sports ground of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Government College. The Chief Guest, District Collector Anshdeep, hoisted the flag at 9:05 AM.

During the main event, District Collector Anshdeep inspected the parade, took the salute during the march past, and honored freedom fighters and brave women. Various educational institutions showcased their discipline with impressive gymnastic displays.

Cultural presentations by Nojge Public School, Bihani Children Academy, and Tiny Tots depicted deep patriotism. Dignitaries like District Chief Kuldeep Indora, CEO of District Council Mr. Mridul Singh, UIT Secretary Mr. Kailashchandra Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Mr. Yashpal Ahuja, ADM Administration Mr. Sanjay Agrawal, and others attended the event.

In the skillful parade, Rajasthan Armed Forces secured the first position, Rajasthan Police Women's Unit secured the second position, and Rajasthan Police Men's Unit secured the third position. In the non-competitive parade, NCC Senior Division secured the first position, Bharat Scouts secured the second position, and Hindustan Scouts & Guides secured the third position.

The event concluded with flag hoisting ceremonies at various government offices, symbolizing the spirit of Republic Day across the district.
