71st All India Railway Table Tennis Championship 2025-26 Concludes in Jaipur

Jaipur. The 71st All India Railway Table Tennis Championship 2025-26, organized under the aegis of the North Western Railway Sports Association, concluded on Sunday at the Officers’ Club, Jagatpura, Jaipur. The tournament was held from 27 to 31 August 2025.

At the closing and prize distribution ceremony, Mr. Amitabh, General Manager, North Western Railway, presented awards to the winners and extended his congratulations and best wishes for their future endeavors.

According to Mr. Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer, North Western Railway, around 90 players from 15 teams (13 men’s teams and 7 women’s teams) competed in the championship. A total of 38 events, including 8 singles and 30 team competitions, were conducted.

In the women’s category, Western Railway emerged victorious in the team events, while Anusha Kutumbale from Western Railway clinched the singles title. In the men’s category, South Eastern Railway secured the team championship, while Ronit Bhanja of Eastern Railway claimed the singles crown.

The closing ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Mr. Ashok Maheshwari, Additional General Manager; Mr. P.K. Singh, President, North Western Railway Sports Association & Principal Chief Personnel Officer; Mr. Anuj Kumar Tayal, Secretary, North Western Railway Sports Association & Secretary to the GM; and Mr. Jitendra Kumar, OSD Sports, along with departmental heads, officers, staff representatives, participants, and officials.
