District-Level School Weightlifting Championship Concludes

Udaipur. The 69th Education Department School Weightlifting Sports Competition was organized under the guidance of Mahatma Gandhi School, Badgaon. Co-organizer Dev Rawat informed that several national and state-level medalists showcased their talent during the event.

Principal Sarika Jain shared that in the 17-year boys’ category, Aspolok Fatehpura emerged as the champion; in the 17-year girls’ category, Balika Bhopalpura secured the title; and in the 19-year boys’ category, once again, Alok Fatehpura claimed the championship.

The event was graced by District Weightlifting Association President Rajkumar Khatwani, District Sports Officer Mahesh Paliwal, Deepak Sharma, Kamlesh Sharma, Sarpanch of Badgaon Gram Panchayat, and Panchayat Samiti member Bhuvneshwar Vyas as chief guests.

Expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, Principal Sarika Jain emphasized that sports play a vital role in the holistic development of students and inspire them to progress in life. She also encouraged the continuation of sports activities.
