GITS Hosts Successful International Conference on Innovation in Science, Engineering, and Technology

The Valedictory Ceremony of the International Conference on Innovation in Science, Engineering, and Technology, ISET-2024, jointly organized by the Departments of Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at GITS, concluded on May 4th, 2024, marking a significant milestone in the academic calendar. Dr. Sunil Joshi, Head of the Department of ECE at CTAE, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour, shedding light on groundbreaking innovations within the G5 and G6 technologies, particularly emphasizing advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for monitoring and forecasting purposes.

Dr. C.P. Jain, Convener of the conference, unveiled that a total of 110 research papers were submitted over the course of the two-day event, with 89 of exceptional quality being presented. This robust participation underscored the conference's significance as a platform for scholars, researchers, and industrialists to exhibit their ingenuity in addressing contemporary challenges such as the rapid evolution of technology, burgeoning energy demands, and the imperative to mitigate the effects of global warming.

During the ceremony, an address was delivered to highlight the necessity and relevance of such conferences in fostering collaboration and innovation, aimed at advancing societies and enhancing living standards for all stakeholders.
