Udaipur: Lions Club Udaipur Lakecity organised a Teachers’ Day celebration on September 13 at Lions Bhawan, Dewali, to honour educators for their dedicated and exemplary contribution to the field of education. Club President Lion Deepak Wahi welcomed the invited teachers. The programme was conducted by Lion Ritu Dhingra and Lion Dr. Richa Mathur. Amay Atma Krishna Das was the chief guest, while Regional Chairperson Dr. Anubhav Sharma shared his views on the importance of teachers and their role in shaping society. A total of 19 teachers were honoured for their sincere commitment and outstanding performance in discharging their teaching responsibilities. The awardees were Professor G. M. Mehta, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mahla, S. K. Tandon, Prema Jain, Janak Singh Rawat, Kaushik Chanda, Anjali Bhatnagar, Lakshmi Narayan Ameta, Jhumur Gehlot, Irshad Ahmed Sindhi, Nirmala Teli, Bharat Kumar Javat, Chandrashekhar, Surbhi Raizada, Chandrakanta Kumawat, Priyanka Babel, Vijeta Upadhyay, Dr. Mohammad Yunus, and Dr. Richa Mathur. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Club Secretary Lion Manish Sharma, who expressed gratitude to the guests, teachers and members for their participation and support.
