Udaipur,Rail traffic on the Ajmer–Chanderiya section will be affected due to ongoing doubling work between Jharwasa–Bandanwara and Singawal stations under the Ajmer Division of North Western Railway.
According to North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan, a non-interlocking block is being undertaken as part of the doubling project. Consequently, several train services will remain cancelled, partially cancelled, diverted, rescheduled or regulated during the period.
Cancelled Train
Train No. 19606, Udaipur City–Madar Express will remain cancelled from its originating station on October 8, 2026.
Partially Cancelled Services
Train No. 19606, Udaipur City–Madar Express, departing from Udaipur City from October 9 to 11, will operate only up to Ajmer. The service will remain partially cancelled between Ajmer and Madar.
Train No. 12992, Jaipur–Udaipur City Express, departing from Jaipur from October 9 to 11, will operate only up to Rana Pratap Nagar. The service will remain partially cancelled between Rana Pratap Nagar and Udaipur City.
Diverted Train Services
Train No. 17605, Kacheguda–Bhagat Ki Kothi Express, departing from Kacheguda on October 2 and 5, will operate via the diverted route of Ratlam–Kota–Sawai Madhopur–Jaipur–Phulera. On the diverted route, the train will halt at Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur, Degana and Jodhpur.
Train No. 14801, Jodhpur–Indore Express, departing from Jodhpur from October 9 to 11, will operate via Ajmer–Jaipur–Sawai Madhopur–Kota–Ratlam. The train will halt at Kishangarh, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Nagda and Ratlam on the diverted route.
Train No. 12996, Ajmer–Bandra Terminus Express, departing from Ajmer on October 10, will operate via Abu Road–Palanpur–Sabarmati–Vadodara. The train will halt at Beawar, Marwar Junction, Falna, Abu Road, Palanpur and Sabarmati on the diverted route.
Rescheduled Services
Train No. 12992, Jaipur–Udaipur City Express, from October 9 to 11, will depart Jaipur two hours later than its scheduled departure time.
Train No. 19606, Udaipur City–Madar Express, from October 9 to 11, will depart Udaipur City 1 hour 30 minutes later than its scheduled time.
Train No. 20995, Ajmer–Bandra Terminus Express, on October 10, will depart Ajmer one hour later than scheduled.
Train No. 17080, Jaipur–Hyderabad Express, on October 11, will depart Jaipur one hour later than its scheduled departure time.
Regulated Service
Train No. 19609, Udaipur City–Yog Nagari Rishikesh Express, departing from Udaipur City on October 10, will be regulated for 40 minutes between Bhilwara and Mokhampura.
