UDAIPUR, India — Sept. 4, 2026: As preparations for the upcoming urban local body elections enter the final phase, a total of 473,690 voters across six civic bodies in Udaipur district will elect their representatives to the urban governments. The district has 190 wards and 523 polling stations. The electorate comprises 238,142 men, 235,529 women and 19 transgender voters, according to election officials. Udaipur Municipal Corporation Has Largest Electorate The Udaipur Municipal Corporation is the largest civic body in the district in terms of voters. Elections will be held across 80 wards at 413 polling stations, including 406 regular and seven auxiliary polling stations. The corporation has 416,143 voters, including 209,048 men, 207,081 women and 14 transgender voters. Voter Strength Across Other Civic Bodies Mavli: The municipality has 20 wards and 20 polling stations, with 8,198 voters — 4,132 men, 4,063 women and three transgender voters. Vallabhnagar: The 20 wards will have 20 polling stations for 8,314 voters, including 4,222 men and 4,092 women. Bhinder: The municipality has 25 wards and 25 polling stations. A total of 13,916 voters are eligible to vote, comprising 7,092 men, 6,822 women and two transgender voters. Fatehnagar-Sanwar: The 25-ward municipality has 25 polling stations and 17,724 voters, including 8,891 men and 8,833 women. Kanod: The municipality has 20 wards and 20 polling stations, with 9,395 voters — 4,757 men and 4,638 women.
