Udaipur: Tarang Club Senior Citizens Forum, Sector 7, celebrated World Senior Citizens Day with great enthusiasm at Jagannath Dham. The programme was presided over by V.L. Mandawara and began with the chanting of mantras.

Devraj Khangwal delivered the welcome address, while Pawan Paliwal proposed the vote of thanks. During the programme, Bhagwan Lal Meena was felicitated on his birthday.

Addressing the gathering, Mandawara spoke in detail about the history and significance of World Senior Citizens Day and highlighted the various healthcare and other facilities provided by the government for senior citizens.

The celebration featured songs, ghazals, poems and humorous anecdotes presented by senior citizens, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere. Several members, including Balram Chauhan, Azad Singh Boliya, Mukund Ballabh Sharma, Ganesh Lal Sharma, Ranjit Singh Shaktawat, Bhupendra Singh Bhati, Ramesh Chandra Khandelwal, Suresh Chandra Gupta, Mahesh Sharma, Kamlesh Agarwal, Man Singh Sankhla, Dr. Mahesh Mishra, Ashok Nagori, Chandmal Chhaprawal and Sunil Pancholi, shared their views.

The works of miniature artist Dr. Chandra Prakash Chittora were highly appreciated during the event.

Members also urged everyone to participate in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections and cast their votes thoughtfully and responsibly.

The programme was conducted by Shyam Mathpal and concluded with Hasya Asana and refreshments.
