Udaipur: The first gathering of the two-day Jashn-e-Eid Milad-un-Nabi celebrations will be held at Anjuman Chowk on Monday night after Isha prayers to mark the 1501st birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The celebrations are being organised under the aegis of Anjuman Taleem-ul-Islam, Udaipur.
Anjuman Taleem-ul-Islam President Haji Mukhtar Qureshi and Secretary Advocate Mustafa Sheikh said the programme will feature prominent religious scholars and reciters. Syed Saif Raza Qadri, Khalifa-e-Tajushsharia and Peer-e-Tariqat from Bareilly Sharif, will deliver a discourse on the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad. Abdul Mustafa Noori from Bhiwandi, Mumbai, will present devotional Naat recitations.
The second day’s gathering will feature a religious discourse by Khalifa-e-Tajushsharia and Muhaddis-e-Kabir Mufti Ghulam Jilani Azhari of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh.
The programme will be conducted by Maulana Zulqarnain Balyavi, President of Tanzeem-ul-Ulema, along with Maulana As Mohammad Mujahidi, Khalifa-e-Huzoor Mujahid-e-Millat, and Maulana Sobdar Alam. Several religious scholars from across Udaipur are also expected to attend.
For the smooth conduct of the event, Anjuman office-bearers, cabinet members and staff will remain present and extend their services throughout the programme. President Mukhtar Qureshi, Secretary Mustafa Sheikh, Vice President Farooq Qureshi, Joint Secretary Izhar Hussain and other members will oversee the arrangements.
