Udaipur: A dispute has emerged over around 7,000 square feet of land in Punjabi Bagh near Kalka Mata Road, with Dharmendra Pal Sharda seeking an impartial investigation by the police, Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) and district administration.
Sharda alleged attempts to encroach upon his recorded land and sought verification of property documents, partition records, maps and ownership records. He said he purchased around 10,000 square feet in 1998, of which approximately 2,700 square feet was sold in 2003, while the remaining land continued to remain in his name.
He alleged that subsequent partition proceedings involved manipulation of documents and maps. The matter also involves a claim raised by Ayush Meena, who reportedly purchased a plot in the area in 2007.
A site verification was conducted in the presence of UDA officials and representatives of both parties. Sharda said records showed his ownership under Araji Nos. 377 and 386.
He has urged authorities to conduct a comprehensive inquiry and take legal action if any irregularities or document manipulation are established.
