Udaipur: The triennial election meeting of Ek Bata Vikas Samiti, Govardhan Vilas Housing Society, was held under the chairmanship of outgoing president Jeevan Singh Pokharna, who was unanimously re-elected as president for another three-year term.
Members expressed confidence in his leadership and resolved to further expand the committee’s social welfare activities and strengthen community participation.
The meeting included detailed discussions on various community issues, upcoming programmes, social initiatives and strategies to strengthen the organisation. A new executive committee was also constituted.
Former IPS officers T.C. Damor and Purushottam Pallav were appointed patrons, while former RAS officers Bhoj Kumar Suman and Kanhaiya Lal Khatri were named advisers. Bholaram Sahni was appointed secretary, Dr. Vallabhlal Mandowara senior vice-president, Chandrakant Paliwal vice-president, Arun Kumar Mundra treasurer and Pradeep Sahival joint secretary.
Yogesh Chaubisa was given responsibility as cultural secretary and programme coordinator, Prasoon Bhardwaj as organisation secretary and birthday celebration coordinator, and Dinesh Gothwal as media coordinator.
Several members, including Prakash Singh Rathore, Harish Matolia, Kailash Chandra Sharma, Ashish Bansal, Rakesh Gandhi, Deepak Nagauri, Lalit Chaudhary, Kapil Chaubisa, Girish Govil, Ujjwal Jain and Avinash Pokharna, were inducted as executive committee members. Women representatives include Chanda Goyal, Kavita Khandelwal, Asha Kumbhat, Deepika Sharma and Deepika Bhatnagar.
After his re-election, Pokharna thanked all members and called for collective efforts to promote unity, organisational strength and community welfare.
